AngelaCP
Hi everyone

BoldConservative.com
hi

AngelaCP
today's chat is with the CafePress big dogs...that would be Fred, Maheesh and Mehdi

SagArt
Howdy!

LoveJML
Hello Angela

Fricka
Hello hello :)

FredCP
Hello all

MaheeshCP
Hey

MehdiCP
Hello everyone

Towal
Hi Fred and Maheesh

FredCP
I guess I can do a State of the Union blabber for a few seconds

Gremlin
Four score and seven products ago....

MaheeshCP
Fred has a long diatribe he is going to give

FredCP
The big news is stuff that is barely visible. With around 40 million products... I think thats about the number of listings on eBay. So the infrastructure was a huge undertaking. Our facility expansion completed as well. We have Five times the capacity. Ship times were slightly erratic depending on the types of products in the order, but its under control and were getting back into same-day delivery territory. I think its about half of all orders now shipped the same day they are ordered.

FredCP
Dark Ts are improving all the time. Were about to release what I would call Beta 2. We wont take off the beta moniker until we feel were truly commercial quality. The improvements are very noticeable though, people seeing the side-by-side comparisons really wow strongly.

FredCP
We have one or two more steps until were totally there. Were still the absolute best quality 1-off dark garments. But we know you guys expect best quality of any technique, 1-off, at good pricing. Were close were certainly 1-off, pricing works, so were working very hard on getting quality up without additional cost.

FredCP
Inside were working on our most ambitious projects yet. Cannot say too much about it yet, but with search, black ts, and the new factory behind us, we have the resources to move on to the next items we hear loud-and-clear from everyone.

MaheeshCP
Now Mehdi has a bunch of stuff to say

MehdiCP
A couple of more projects we finished in Q1. We added hardware capacity to our site to increase search speed by a factor of 4 as we added more than 10 million products in Q1 alone

MehdiCP
We started to serve our content over 20+K servers which allows your buyers to reach your products in your stores in less than 2 seconds from anywhere in the world. This is a 3x improvement in speed from January.

MehdiCP
We did a major behind the scene upgrade to our image handling to enable support for new types of products and composition of images including vector graphics. Stay tuned, as this upgrade will enable new and exciting products at CafePress

AngelaCP
So that's the exciting news everyone we'll start answering some questions...as I'm sure you guys have a lot!

KippyGlow
Yay for vectors!

Gremlin
CP are making flying cars that run on water. I saw it in the Weekly World News....

AngelaCP
Yes we are. :D

jean/rotemgear
green cars

boo-boo
Do your t-shirts last through several washings, even though it's not silkscreen?

AngelaCP
Ours last longer than silkscreen shirts. Silkscreen shirts tend to crack over time.

BoldConservative.com
Awesome! Is there a way to get a uniformly spread color, like orange, instead of a newsprint style look? And any word on long sleeve black shirts and other dark color shirts?

MaheeshCP
I don't understand the first part of the question. Once we get quality better - we will launch more colors

Gremlin
Will BlackShirt Beta2 have dual-sided printed?

MaheeshCP
not yet

boo-boo
Will vector graphics then allow Adobe Illustrator?

MehdiCP
Working on supporting SVG, stay tuned on timing

boo-boo
I'm new to CafePress. Will I have to pay state and local sales taxes?

MaheeshCP
we take care of sales tax collections

Gremlin
I might as well launch with the obvious question group: Black shirts: when does beta and full release begin; when do we get dual sided printing; when do we get black hoodies and tanks; when do we get blues and reds and browns and whatever; can I have a pony; the usual....

FredCP
Before we go hog wild on releasing tons of dark garments, we want to first perfect the printing and ink. It's getting darn close. The next "beta 2" should be out any day. I think it'll go by the end of the week. Beta three should see more improvements in ink and possibly a few new colors and expand from there.

tillyandmia
Any chance for an expanded offering for babies? Its a HUGE market and I'd love to offer baby hats, pink and blue onesies, etc. people spend a ton of money on their kids!

MaheeshCP
Definitely working on more baby and kids merch.

SagArt
Love the affiliate program. It's exciting and so much fun! Thanks.

MaheeshCP
Glad you like it.

jean/rotemgear
are you waiting till black shirts are better before releasing black shirts or women?

MaheeshCP
yes

Michigal
I am wondering about the product packaging. A while back there was a forum question from CP asking our input on packaging that is more eye appealing to the customer. How is this going... is it still in the works... if so, what kind of new packaging can we expect?

AngelaCP
It's something we are looking into but won't happen for a while. We're still in the research phase

FredCP
Beta two won't have 2 sided yet. The cost will not go down, but the quality will keep getting better while the cost doesn't rise.

boo-boo
If you take care of sales tax collections, then that means I don't have to get a business or vendor license?

MaheeshCP
Yes - you don't need a business license

BoldConservative.com
what about a CafePress office in Europe or Asia? I have a few customers who have emailed me from outside of America and Canada

MehdiCP
We are tracking our traffic from those regions and investing in increasing our reach but real support for International will probably be next year.

Towal
more pet stuff coming?

MaheeshCP
Absolutely. My dogs ask me for more stuff every day.

boo-boo
Do I need a license so that I can pay sales taxes?

MaheeshCP
no - you don't need a license

boo-boo
But I must report any earnings to IRS?

MaheeshCP
if you earn $600, you will get a w2

Romy
I'd noticed a change in image thumbnails in the marketplace, but "improvement" wasn't the word that came to mind, unfortunately. My black t thumbnails look specky and jaggy and no one's bought one for a while. They used to sell with no returns. The product image looks fine, just the design thumb is terrible.

AngelaCP
Yes, we are aware of that. We are fixing that right now and hope to have it live in the next release.

Romy
Thanks, Angela! (Waves of relief flood over me . . . ahhhhh) (Meant to type product thumb)

RawTees
Are the vector graphics going to be used for a new type of printing process, or will they be used with the Heat Transfer and DirectPrint methods now in place?

MehdiCP
We will support all of our existing process.

Ophelia
Any other new products planned?

MaheeshCP
A lot - hard to list them all. Well get more colors of apparel online first.

buffaloworks
There was talk last year about expanding print offerings, is that in the works soon?

MaheeshCP
We are working on this, including more paper options

MagentaStudios
What are some of the long-term goals- digital product downloads? Products that CP manufactures the blanks for? Adding silkscreening for bulk orders?

FredCP
The long-term goal list is huge. This is a hard one to answer for me! Silkscreening is not likely; we would rather stick to what we're good at - one-demand short run. We'll try to get that process better for larger runs over time...

boo-boo
Will you be handling the business side--namely, sending me a W2 if I earn $600?

BrittaCP
You'll get a 1099

maryo
Upselling and Cross-selling Tools? And/or a wish list feature (like Amazon, etc.)

Michigal
Concerning kids items. We already have baseball jerseys with navy and red sleeves. Can we possibly get pastel color sleeves as well i.e. pink, light blue, yellow? The printing process would be the same, just different color sleeve on the shirts. Girls like softer colors.

MaheeshCP
Good point - I'll bring this up to our merchandise team

MehdiCP
Thinking through this right now if you have suggestions send us more details.

mabel
What are some of the best tips you have for someone who is just getting started?

AngelaCP
Some tips on the top of my head is if you're not on a Premium Shop upgrade, if you're not optimizing your shop and products for search engines, optimize. More traffic is key in success so other things to get your shop out there is to promote using blogging, self-promotion, co-marketing, visit message boards...

mixedthreads.com
How can we offer "Make Your Own" on our independent site, so we can get part of the sale as well?

MaheeshCP
You can do this with a premium shop and an affiliate link.

Towal
Would it be possible to have a way to track reasons for returns even if they are somewhat broad. Just like wrong size, wrong color, design problem. Something so we have an idea if they had issue with the product or if our design needs work?

MehdiCP
Great feedback. Will put it down for the product management team

MaxMuhlin
My checks for 2005 were well over $600 and I did NOT get a W2 or 1099 or whatever one would get in that case.

MaheeshCP
Can you email me at mjain@cafepress.com with your account info and I'll have our accounting dept look into it

Sherry
Any chance of white or black sweatshirts in near future? Women are really tired of gray, men too, but especially women.

MaheeshCP
Working on this.

maryo
How about the new product designer? Will that make it easier to add new products?

MehdiCP
We have a lot of ideas and prototypes on this front but we are stepping back to think through what are the best models for creating and promoting products on our store

tillyandmia
The bonus structure seems counter-intuitive. If I am getting toward the end of the month I don't push for the next tier, as I am almost better off "saving" sales for the start of the next month. Have you considered restructuring this?

AngelaCP
We are looking in the future, but no definite plans yet.

Ophelia
How is the larger size apparel coming along?

MaheeshCP
We are working hard on plus sized products. We have some cool prototypes in our office and hope to have it online during summer/ fall.

Towal
pet stuff this year maybe or further down the road?

AngelaCP
It will be further down the road

Fricka
In regards to Dark Shirts Beta 2 -- a sample was put up in which most of the improvements seem to be in taking out the black in the image and letting the shirt black show through is that the main improvement you are talking about? I see that as an issue with preparing files on the designer end, not on CP's end though.

FredCP
There are 2 things improved in Beta 2. One is kind of hard to tell in photos, but the colors are WAY better. When shown to people in person it's a dramatic reaction. The gamut is expanded as well - colors we could not hit before are there now. One of the magic parts of CafePress is that we do a lot to make average images look better. Not everyone is a professional designer - so we try to democratize the process as much as possible. The black-show-though really makes it look better for about 80-90% of the images folks upload. That's a lot of folks that need design help, and is a way for us to give it to them. But we hear you about control - so we're not going to do it by default.

MaheeshCP
We're getting a lot of questions about new merchandise - and when new merch will come out.

Michigal
How close are we to getting gift certificates?

MehdiCP
We put it on the back burner due to other priorities.

BoldConservative.com
What about a percentage ranking system for sellers. "You are in the top X % of Cafe Press sellers" ?

MehdiCP
How would this help you sell or help someone buy, just asking to dive into your thinking

MaheeshCP
We are working hard on getting new merchandise online -but we don't see anything getting online over the next month or so. There are a lot of cool changes we are making in prep for getting the new merch online (so it'll be easier to manage for example). Can't talk about it just yet - but we promise, a lot of new merch coming soon

barbaraburns
What kinds of things are we going to do at the Conference in October?

MaheeshCP
Learn, have fun, sing song, roast marshmallows.

Gremlin
Oh. Are the base prices in the final release of black shirts likely to drop? I never even considered that.

FredCP
Dark garment prices are not likely to drop any time soon. The R&D is very expensive. One off dark is hot new technology (believe it or not). Sorry!

BoldConservative.com
the Bumper stickers are great, they really are water and UV proof. :-) Y'all do a great job!

MaheeshCP
Yeah

maryo
Any conference rates available at local hotels? :)

MaheeshCP
We will be working on this. Well announce official hotels in June

Sir Real
On the plus sizes, will the designs be proportionate to the apparel or will they remain 10" x 10". Actually is that something that's being looked at anyways for larger sizes so that designs look the way they do when the customer sees it?

MaheeshCP
Yes - we'll make sure that designs don't look like postage stamps

jean/rotemgear
how about expanding printing area? The indie guys (competition) are printing from hem to shoulder -- any chance of some expansion there?

FredCP
I don't know anyone printing from hem to shoulder. Some folks have larger print areas, but the quality sucks. We'll expand the size when the quality is there. This year kind of time frame. There may be extra fees for larger print areas - I'm not sure at this point...

SagArt
could we possibly see more home decor products that we can use to get a stronger foothold in that market? Possibly?

MaheeshCP
Yes

boo-boo
Is the base price for the products the same whether the design requires 1 color or 5 colors?

FredCP
Yes

mixedthreads.com
How long does it take for the keywords to be recognized in your internal product search engine?

MaheeshCP
24 hours

cpentrepreneur
has CP thought of a way to include a resizing application for when someone has the kind of image they want to upload, yet finds that it fits on a T-shirt but not quite on a button or sticker, and wishes to resize it more quickly than through their graphics software?

MehdiCP
Yes, we have prototypes of this but not ready for release

Matt
can you tell us a little more about what to expect at the CafePress conference in October?

AngelaCP
Certainly. The conference will be hosted at Fort Mason in San Francisco (beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge). Just to name a few: workshops, special sessions with various groups, focus groups, a keynote speech, and a whole lot of fun. For newbie and seasoned Shopkeepers, you will leave the conference with a lot of knowledge... but most of all, the great networking you will get from meeting Shopkeepers. Hope to see you. We'll have more information next month.

Towal
Will the new product designer be less redundant? For example on sections we put in the title twice. The description twice, the thumbnail twice. Could we have a check box or something where we could just input the information once and if it's the same for the section product defaults we can tick a box so it uses the information we have already input... I hope that made sense

MehdiCP
Makes sense will pass the suggestion back to the team

barbaraburns
LOL ... kewl Maheesh.... I love burnt marshmallows! I meant... 1 hr or 4 hr type workshops? How To Market shops? Press Release writing?

MaheeshCP
We actually had a brainstorming meeting today on the types of sessions we are going to hold. We'll have a few different tracks - one for new members, one on marketing, one on design, etc. so a lot of 60-90 minute sessions. We'll also have some panel discussions with top shopkeepers. It should be fun!

Gremlin
What, apart from major industry secrets, is involved in Beta2? Other colours at all? White printing on yellow? Anything like that?

FredCP
Beta two is primarily a much better process that makes the colors noticeably better. And the black/ transparency help for those having trouble with it. We've been testing white on the others colors. It'll come soon also - not sure where they're at in the factory on roll out.

SagArt
Best tip, buy Hectic's book!

AngelaCP
https://www.cafepress.com/swcp

Infinite Generosity
The tier system is also a lose/ lose situation. In order to sell a lot of items, one would need to have cheaper prices. But if one has cheaper prices, one doesn't make a lot of profit.

MaheeshCP
Not necessarily true. Our top sellers actually have higher than average markups

KippyGlow
Can you tell us what any of the new planned products are, aside from apparel?

FredCP
At this point, we're going to have to go radio silent of the product development. Think apple.

Sherry
Will the new product designer go live anytime soon?

MehdiCP
As Fred mentioned, we are working on a larger project that will delay this for a while

PhotoGirl
Could you have a search and replace feature on product designer so one could change all descriptions with Christmas to Mother's Day, or whatever?

AngelaCP
I'll pass that on.

mixedthreads.com
Do you plan on offering additional color shirts in different styles? Especially with your golf shirts, t-shirts, and other apparels that will entice buyers.

MaheeshCP
Yes

jean/rotemgear
you dont need cheaper prices for more sales -- often the opposite

jean/rotemgear
I know Malcolm of MaterniTees will want to know but his Australian schedule doesnt allow him to be here -- how about maternity garb?

AngelaCP
It's definitely on the list. We're hoping soon... but it's still being worked on so we can't say when.

barbaraburns
Awesome Maheesh... 60 to 90 minutes with a break between sounds wonderful... I was afraid I would get zapped from over-load if they were four hours... plus then I was afraid I would miss something too of course LOL... and how soon do we have to firm up our RSVP?

MaheeshCP
We'll announce conference details in June

mixedthreads.com
I know that you offer a Premium Shop, that we have purchased a yearly subscription to, but has your company thought of offering an Exclusive Premium Shop(s)? For additional subscription price over the existing Premium Shops, you can offer better placement and advertisement for these shops products, and perhaps offer more variety of colors for printing on the apparel line. I know that if you offer this service for three times the amount of your original Premium Shop, which we would buy into a plan like this without hesitation.

MehdiCP
We have had discussions but not on immediate roadmap

AngelaCP
Sorry guys... we're radio silence on new merchandise.

Romy
Any progress with gradients in the direct print process? I'm finding that gradients that printed perfectly with heat transfer don't work with direct print, or with the sublimation method for ceramics either.

FredCP
It's improved a lot with Beta 2 and I've seen some R&D results even better.

boo-boo
I think gift certificates would be great.

AngelaCP
Yes. So it will happen before the next holiday.

AngelaCP
It's something we're looking to fix. Adding products was easy when Shopkeepers only had a few sections... our Shopkeepers have gotten so savvy and advanced that most of you have A LOT of sections some even in the hundreds... so yes, we are looking to find a way for Shopkeepers to easily add new merchandise.

Michigal
Concerning the product designer. I would love to be able to lock a section so I could have for instance a "sale" section, and when doing storewide product price changes, the items in that section wouldn't be affected because I "locked" it. It would make having our own sales easier.

AngelaCP
Interesting... I'll pass this along.

Kate
You should bring in a celebrity shopkeeper!

FredCP
Who would you like to see?

Sir Real
Will the Basic shops ever be changed so that products are sorted in a more logical manner? Like separating Men's and Women's clothing instead of jumbling them all together?

MaheeshCP
Yes - we're actually working on that now

Fricka
But with new products I'm hoping a faster way to add them to our shops is available too :)

AngelaCP
Yup...similar to what Sherry is asking for

SagArt
Additionally, the ability to move entire sections with all products and descriptions intact into a new shop would be a godsend and promote new shop development without the tedious hassle we currently go through.

MehdiCP
We are thinking through this problem. We know the store structure is rigid and there are about 100 different operations people want to perform on it. As soon as we have a good prototype we will make sure to get your feedback

Scarebaby
So this larger project will have input from at least some shopkeepers? We hate being blindsided, as you well know!! :)

FredCP
Absolutely! SK's will be heavily, heavily involved.

NiftyGaloot
Any plans for your magical unicorn to do glitter printing? Or will that only be available when you switch to pixie dust?

MaheeshCP
I don't think glitter printing is anywhere on the horizon. Sorry.

Sir Real
Any discussion on offering the ability to separate products in a Premium shop section the way it's done automatically in Basic shops?

MaheeshCP
Lots of work being done on making it easier to manage products in premium shops

mixedthreads.com
In your backend, will you be adding a WYSIWYG HTML editor?

MehdiCP
Has not been on the list; push if you think it is essential

buffaloworks
Is new designer going to be able to crop images, if desired, so those who need to now will not need to upload multiple images for professional look of full bleed on all items?

MaheeshCP
Yes

Michigal
I dont' think the question I had about product packaging was answered. Is that idea still in the works...better more eye appealing packaging? Personally, I think the way products are presented is a huge thing. If for instance the ornaments came in a little box or cool looking envelope rather than the bubble wrap.

AngelaCP
We answered one similar earlier... we are still looking into it, but it's not anytime soon.

Gremlin
The biggest problem with adding new merch to old sections is the layout order. If we could set a layout template indicating the preferred order of all potential products, and click a button to arrange to default, it would take all of ten seconds.

MehdiCP
I know the team has gone through this, but will pass this along again

Towal
Will page load times for the media basket improve with the new product designer? It's hard to have patience to get products up when every trip to the media basket take 90 seconds to load (and again this is where getting rid of the redundancy would be super helpful). Right now to put up a product, I have to hit the media basket a minimum of 3 times.

FredCP
As people have added more and more images, some people have performance issues. Sort of like adding too many pictures to iPhoto. We're definitely looking at that for the next version

foxvox
When black garment is out of Beta, will you still offer transfer, direct AND black garment printing or are there different plans?

FredCP
Direct and black are actually the same thing, but one has thick white ink under it. Those will stay. Heat transfer will stay for as long as direct doesn't have equivalent color vibrancy and detail.

Fricka
I timed myself the other day... on high speed Internet... it took me over 35 minutes to add a design (no design on back) to make one premium shop section. I couldn't use bulk pricing (I price my hoodies higher than the rest) but still it was a long time I think.

MehdiCP
I am sorry to hear that. We track our site performance 7/24. Can you tell me what geography you connected from?

LoveJML
Is there gonna be a way to move an entire section into another, as opposed to having to import all of the products from the old section into a new one that has to be re-built the way it is now?

MehdiCP
Will put this on the list to consider

Matt
Large image baskets seem to cause lots of issues :(.

MaheeshCP
Working on it

BoldConservative.com
Will there be a Cliff Notes version of the past conferences for people that can't be there but would like to learn?

AngelaCP
We have some things planned...but not the same as actually being there ;)

Kate
Perhaps you could add the ability to split accounts into more than one image bank

FredCP
When we designed the first system, we had no idea people would have tens of thousands of images. We'll take this into account next time.

LoveJML
Is there gonna be an easier way to rearrange products in a section? Right now it can be very tedious if there are a large number of products in a section.

FredCP
Definitely lots of eyes on this

Rowan
I would like to advertise an informal get together in OZ for coffee and chat for shopkeepers but not many watch the forums. Can CafePress send a notice to a particular section of the community?

AngelaCP
We have a MeetUp. We haven't actively promoted that, but will soon. Email meetup@cafepress.com if you're interested in organizing one in your area. I'm not sure where OZ is...

Towal
I am glad I'm not the only one in that boat, Fricka. I have 400+ images to get put up and I can only manage about 10 on a good day because it takes so long I get completely frustrated

FredCP
Yes.

boo-boo
Do I need a credit or debit card in order to use CafePress?

AngelaCP
you don't.

Ophelia
Anything planned for paginating sections to keep pages down to a reasonable size?

MaheeshCP
Working on this

boo-boo
How will I know if someone buys one of my design/product?

MehdiCP
It will show up in your report

Gremlin
Oz is Australia.

AngelaCP
ahhh, thanks for everyone who pinged me :)

maryo
Who would we contact if we would like to offer a seminar or speak on a panel for the conference? Would you consider proposals from shopkeepers?

MaheeshCP
Yes. Email Angela about the conference

RawTees
Are there any new perks planned for the Top Shopkeepers program in the near future? How would you rate the program thus far?

AngelaCP
Probably...it's a program we're working on...and it's doing really good.

AngelaCP
Yes maryo...email me alow@cafepress.com

AngelaCP
It's YOUR conference, so feedback is welcome

Michigal
I have a question. Do Mother's Day sales seem to be in full swing yet?

MaheeshCP
Yes

maryo
Have you thought about adding a gift wrap option for the holidays?

FredCP
We have. We even tried it one year. I'm sure we'll try again - not sure about this year. It means we have to be REALLY good about training the shipping folks. It's one of those things we don't want to promise unless we're confident we can follow though with quality.

Matt
You should do live PodCasts of the CPconference for people unable to attend.

AngelaCP
Yup...it's already planned...among other things

Towal
is there anyone still looking into why we don't get you've made a sale emails anymore or have that just been given up as a lost cause?

MehdiCP
I think it works as far as I know, you might want to check your email address and server

Gremlin
If only a percentage of sale alerts are coming in through Email, it could also be a spam filter thing.

barbaraburns
I get the sale emails when I make a sale

PhotoGirl
You've made a sale still works, I got one an hour ago.

Sir Real
I've mentioned this in the forum but I want to mention it again. The font size in many parts of the Product Designer are just way too small! Any possibility that'll be changed?

FredCP
We'll look at it! Thanks for the heads up, I've not heard this complaint before.

MaxMuhlin
I've never gotten the Sale emails do you have to sign up for that?

MaheeshCP
Its an option in your my account section

Sir Real
My sales emails are regularly delayed by anywhere from 2 to 24 hours. I submitted a bug report several months ago and was told it was a known bug but it still persists. Can you explain why this doesn't get fixed? It used to work fine.

AngelaCP
We have seen this mentioned many times on the community forums. On our end, the email does get sent promptly. But... what happens after it gets sent may vary from ISP to ISP. They could be blocking it... or, a delay on their end. Try using another email address to see if you get the same result.

Fricka
If you're on a PC hold down Ctrl and scroll with your mouse button to increase font sizes for most WebPages.

MagentaStudios
There are still a lot of us who don't get the you've made a sale emails, and have not for more than a year now.

MehdiCP
I will look into it to make sure our side is working. I still suspect that your ISPs might be doing bad spam blocking

SagArt
How about template development for CP shops? There are a ton of talented people at CP that could design as a team for you to offer gorgeous templates that have a bit more pizzazzzz and variety (Not me, I can barely scratch my ahhh-h "nose" at it.). It would be nice to have a flow of new template designs for various niche shops. Don't ya' love all these suggestions? LOL

AngelaCP
We have seen this suggestion...and we like it. We'll find a way to do this.

FredCP
Reminder: thanks for all the product / merchandise suggestions. I'm not seeing anything that is not on our list. So this is a kind of blanket response to everyone: thanks, sorry for the silence on particular products and the timelines at this time.

Towal
I've had the same email addy for years. Believe me lots of spam gets through (unfortunately). Its not in my settings. Its not my server. Its a glitch somewhere, but it's not on my end

MehdiCP
I will check

jean/rotemgear
Ang, what do you mean the programs doing good? What is it doing? I only got one email about it

AngelaCP
You get the access of the Shop Marketing team... so it has helped at lot shopkeepers... it's only a few months old. The initial question was plans to offer perks, etc... and that is a possibility. I'll pass this on to the team behind the program.

barbaraburns
How soon will the Father's Day & Graduation portals be going up? Can we submit designs for them?

MaheeshCP
I think they are online now

Michigal
I always get my you've made a sale emails without problem

LoveJML
There's seems to be a bit of a lag time between when the sale shows up as "pending" in your report, and when you get the e-mail...about a hour or so

boo-boo
So every individual designer has their own individual website shop in addition to being on CafePress?

FredCP
Yes! In fact, the history of CafePress.com is that people used to have their own shops, and there was no directory of products on CafePress. Only shops! There will ALWAYS be shops!

buffaloworks
I gave up and started using a gmail address. My server one did not work at all.

AngelaCP
Suggestion is to try another email address.

AngelaCP
So it's almost time. We have a of answered questions...sorry. You guys have a lot today.

Fricka

It doesn't Matter if other things get through. The question is whether your particular ISP is blocking email from CafePress. You would have to call your email provider and ask.

AngelaCP
Thanks Maryo. We find this is the issue.

jean/rotemgear
will production continue to ship orders in more than one shipment?

FredCP
That should not happen very often at all anymore. It happened in Q1 (Jan-march). Should be done. Exception is posters, which have to go in a long tube.

Sir Real
What's odd is some days I'll get emails immediately and then others there'll be a huge delay. These problems all started for me after you made changes to your email system and then reverted back after numerous complaints.

MehdiCP
I will check into it
